Sydenham Arts have been inspiring creativity and community arts in and around Sydenham and Lewisham since 2009! We are passionate about our community, and celebrate the incredible talent and energy from all corners of our community. We deliver a high quality and diverse range of creative projects all year round, from engaging performances to collaborative workshops with something for everyone. We believe in the transformative impact of the arts as a learning tool, a call to action, a healer, an entertainer and so much more.

Our Community

Sydenham, in the heart of the richly diverse borough of Lewisham is jam-packed with diverse talent and creativity. We celebrate making arts part of our lives, inspire creativity, social development and richer sharing of diverse cultures. Our creative projects endeavour to support social change for the better, to enrich and improve peoples lives, and a thriving, vibrant local community.

Our impact on the community
Sydenham Arts' programme engages 1000's of audiences every year across a diverse programme of events. We work with local, nationwide and international artists, and improve access to the arts through a number of free events as well as our regular programming. We want our work to help people to shape their lives, exploring new things, and doing what they are passionate about. Our projects, whether for an audience of 100's, or an audience of 1 help to bring new opportunities for individuals and communities alike.
