Christmas is very special and we provide the full magical experience - a real tree, presents, stockings Christmas lunch and a visit from Father Christmas. Eating meals together, forming teams for play and competition, reading and board games, cocoa and a bed time story and healthy food all play their part in making the children's respite time a special and well deserved occasion

Why they need our service

We provide a programme of respite holidays for children aged 8 to 12 years of age who live in urban areas of high deprivation who experience multiple challenges in their lives. We offer emotional support, access to confidential advice and a breathing space from difficult situations through the medium of family style holidays run by dedicated, qualified child care professionals, providing a secure environment to help children thrive.

Plan and expected results

The children make great strides during their time with us and we are proud of all that they achieve. They respond with interest and engagement to the programme and develop resources and skills that will set them in good stead for life. The residential experience encourages learning to share, consideration for others, living and working in a new community and learning to look after one's own personal space - all transferable skills.
