We raise funds to provide extra equipment and opportunities to enhance our children's education. We do this through organising a variety of events throughout the year, the majority of which are for the children to enjoy such as the Christmas / summer fete, school disco evenings, tuck shops and cake sales. The funds raised from these events are used to pay for equipment, projects and trips not funded by the school.

The majority of the children that attend Princecroft Primary School are in the local community. Friends of Princecroft is about much more than simply fundraising. The Friends of Princecroft exists to provide closer links between home and school and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal. It is fun too - just ask any of the Committee members or Friends of Princecroft helpers.

You can see many examples in and around the school of where the Friends of Princecroft have contributed and many members assist in daily reading and supporting the school with swimming and school trips. We submit accounts to the Charity Commission and on request can show active accounts of the years fundraising and expenses.
