The Outdoor Partnership changes lives through outdoor activities.
We want to get local people to achieve their potential by getting involved in outdoor activities in the gorgeous landscape on their doorstep.
Why the community needs usWe inspire local people to GET INVOLVED, volunteer, get qualified, find a job or just enjoy being outdoors. There are clubs to join and opportunities to get out and about. Women and girls, we want to hear from you too and we can help you get qualified if you want to..We can direct you to clubs which offer opportunities for disabled people even if you have never done anything like it before. Get outdoors in Welsh or English, we use both. Invest in us, we have substantial experience and we deliver.
Our impact on the communityWe have provided over 100,000 outdoor activity opportunities for health and social well-being; trained over 4000 volunteers in a number of outdoor awards; helped over 500 unemployed people back into work; established over 80 community clubs and groups with over 7000 members; provided sustainable opportunities for over 1000 disabled people; increased the number of indigenous Welsh speaking instructors in the region from 4% to 25% (Bangor University Research 2003 & 2013).
