As a world-class venue, we proudly present live music in all its diversity; deliver participation opportunities and extraordinary cultural events including IF: Milton Keynes International Festival. The Stables encourage the widest range of people to engage in cultural activity, breaking down barriers and welcoming everyone to take part and enjoy.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic we've seen audiences return with enthusiasm, reaching over 137,000 people in 2023 alone. However, maintaining our aging building, coping with rising costs, and managing shrinking budgets remain ongoing struggles. The need for your support has never been greater.

At The Stables, our eclectic programme showcases a diverse array of musical genres, alongside cabaret, spoken word, comedy, cinema, early years, and family-friendly performances. We also deliver an inspiring learning and participation programme, which engages more than 5,000 people every year. People of all ages have the chance to learn new skills, gain confidence, connect and meet new people.

IF: Milton Keynes International Festival reaches a wide audience - removing barriers around transportation with the majority of events taking place in city-centre locations, and with 83% of the programme free. The Festival creates moments of joy and reflection engaging non-traditional arts attenders in extraordinary events.

The 2023 Festival actively engaged in two significant projects, The Place Between and AG250, collaborating with over 1,300 local community members and schools. These initiatives not only diversified our audience but also fostered connections with young people.
