Stepladder works with Young People, Educationalists and Employers, to combat the social inequalities linked to economic disadvantage, ethnicity and social class. We run programmes to ensure that young people we reach, from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds, have the opportunity to climb high and exceed expectations. It's not just the right thing to do… it’s crucial to the prosperity and cohesion of our UK communities and society. Most of our participants are BAME.
Stepladder works with young people from secondary school age- right through into excellent employment and beyond. We're about aspiration, innovation and success. Founded in 2000, our pioneering work with young people establishes new, imaginative and flexible approaches to learning for those identified as disadvantaged. We focus on supporting a diverse range of young people to aspire to - and achieve - the exceptional. Stepladder participants reach for the stars- and achieve the galaxy!
