The Open Doors Project provides outdoor activities for children with severe learning disabilities in Birmingham, who suffer from social isolation and a lack of time outdoors. We take the children to local natural environments to play and socialise through activities such as gardening and nature rambling. This enables them to take part in activities they may not get the chance to be part of, increase their confidence and reduce their social isolation by spending time outdoors with new friends.
