Team Fundraisers

Most music venues (including ours) are not covered under their Business Interruption Insurance section because COVID-19 is not one of the specified diseases listed. This means that we will still need to cover our rent and other bills and without an income, our charity will really struggle. This fund will support us to cover the on going costs of running our venue during the temporary closure.

Why they need our service

Recent advice to the public has meant that the Tin can no longer open for live music and other events. We have rescheduled most of our events which were due to take place between now and after Easter, with a view to reviewing as and when more advice is given.

Plan and expected results

The Tin employs 13 people and has 5 self-employed sound engineers. For most of our staff, this is their only job and they rely on the Tin for their income.  We also contribute to the income of musicians, tour managers, touring engineers and their agents and managers. Please help us to ensure they keep their jobs and we cover our running cost. This is a trying time for the arts but we're sure we can get through this with your support.
