Why the community needs usTPS is an OFSTED-outstanding secondary school situated in the heart of Petersfield. TPS has performing arts status, and our arts and sports facilities including The Studio are shared with local community groups throughout the week. Students participate in numerous community events for example the Petersfield Music Festival, fundraising for the Petersfield Open Air Pool and Remembrance Sunday, and regularly meet with local MPs, councillors and others to represent young people in local decisions.
Our impact on the communityThe TPS Development Fund has supported numerous improvements at the School including the Library refurbishment, outdoor canopies and furniture, the sculpture garden, The Studio, new storage facilities and lockers, and interactive whilteboards for classrooms. We've invested in the Greenpower team, VEX robotics and other after-school clubs, gardening, sports and DofE equipment, dance and drama workshops, the radio station, art and printing equipment and much more!
