Why the community needs us
As a small charity, we are committed to supporting the most vulnerable residents of Trowbridge and surrounding areas. Trowbridge Future encourages resilient active communities in Trowbridge. This is achieved by providing local people with the opportunities to come together, build stronger relationships, help local people feel better about where they live and support them to improve their community and the things that matter to them. Current Focus – Youth and Community.
Our impact on the community Trowbridge Future run a dedicated youth centre alongside a town centre Community Hub, a safe space offering support and signposting to homeless people, veterans, those with significant mental or physical health concerns, and other vulnerable adults. We run further activities in our satellite hubs with kindness cafes, craft groups, walking groups, cooking classes, mental health support, English language classes and a monthly veteran support group. We run 3 community fridges distributing unsold food items from supermarkets and food outlets.
