Twinkle House: Supporting Children, Families, and Communities

Based in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire, Twinkle House was established to meet a vital need for services tailored to children with additional needs. Families expressed a desire for a local, easily accessible service that could provide personalised support, and Twinkle House was created in response to that call.

Since opening its doors on May 4, 2004, Twinkle House has delivered practical and emotional support to hundreds of children and families each year. Thanks to generous funding, we have been able to expand our services to benefit a wider range of individuals and groups. This growth has enabled the development of a Wellbeing Programme, Sleep Service, and specialised rooms available for hire.

As demand increased, we sought further funding to relocate to a larger, purpose-built facility. In May 2014, we proudly opened the doors to our new Twinkle House, a spacious Wellness and Sensory Centre serving the North West of England. This expansion has allowed us to support even more families and offer a greater variety of services. The vision, dedication, and determination of our team has shaped Twinkle House into the thriving community resource it is today.
