Vallance Community Sports Association (VCSA) is a young and vibrant organisation catering for the sporting and health needs of young people living in deprived localities of Tower Hamlets and the surrounding boroughs. The provisions of the organisation are delivered by local people who have grown up within the communities VCSA operates in.

The organisation is therefore responsive to the needs of these communities and is at the same time shaped by them. VCSA has been established for over 20 years delivering sporting and recreational initiatives to Tower Hamlets residents. Our track record of delivery in sports participation is highly valued within our community and we have an excellent relationship with parents and local residents.

Currently VCSA engages over 600 people within its programmes on an annual basis. Furthermore, VCSA has been delivering SEN Programmes for the past 10 years and therefore has direct experience of working with the target groups mentioned in this proposal. Management, staff and volunteers are therefore qualified and skilled to deliver the provisions to a high level. Currently VCSA engages over 600 people within its programmes on an annual basis.
