We help people to find, shape and share their voices. Our mission is to bring people together and inspire them to realise their potential through the creative use of story. Stories are part of what makes us human, we interact through story and understand ourselves through our the stories we tell ourselves and others tell us about ourselves. We help people to own their own stories and to shape them in positive ways.

Why the community needs us
We work with people in and around Glasgow, from young people from deprived areas, to people with learning difficulties, people who have offended, older people in hospital and everyone in between. We empower people to learn about themselves and each other and to develop skills and confidence which can improve their life chances. We help people to discover and build on their own strengths. We are also found out and about telling stories to bring people together and to inform, educate and entertain

Our impact on the community
Our storytelling activities promote understanding and improved relationships within diverse communities. People have benefited from reduced isolation, increased confidence and enhanced life skills, such as communication, group work, problem solving and social skills. We have helped people through story to understand themselves better, to reflect on their past and to imagine positive futures (sometimes from the safety of fiction) and to raise awareness of their situations.
