Camp Tanzania
We will take 25 young people to Tanzania to volunteer on a local project. This will most likely be a water based project, such as building a water storage tank. Each person will be required to raise funds towards the materials that they will use when they are there.
Why they need our service We are taking a group of young people from Didcot and Wallingford to volunteer in Tanzania. This is a chance for young people to see how young people of their own age live in Africa. To offer some practical support and build friendships that will last a lifetime. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 this project has now been postponed to probably 2022
Plan and expected results Improved living standards for the community in Tanzania. Friendships that span from the UK to Tanzania an a group of young people who understand how lucky they are
