Providing support to children, young people and their families, to enhance emotional resilience,literacy and capacity to function effectively within family,social,educational and community settings as a a healthy and responsible individual.Our clients may have experienced any number of traumatic life events such as grief, loss, bereavement and domestic violence. We provide a range of services to facilitate the necessary support needed by our service users
Why the community needs us
Our service provides support for those who have experienced traumatic life experiences and is delivered by a team of qualified counsellors. We also provide support and training for other allied professionals to enhance their knowledge of the impact of such events on the emotional and physical well being of such trauma working together with other services to improve the life experience of all young people and their families. This service is delivered totally free of charge to our clients.
Our impact on the community
Our therapeutic work produces a beneficial outcome for our clients by increasing their own emotional capacities and promoting positive self esteem and fostering a sense of enhanced resilience. We have compiled a clear evidence base regarding the benefit of the work which we do. This includes personal testimonies from service users.
