The Whitchurch Association is an umbrella organisation, which other groups are affiliated to. We support town centre activites, such as the BT Faster Broad Band competiton, which was successful, often taking care of the finances. Responsible for the town's only community website, whitchurch.org.uk

The Association makes a difference by bringing different groups and people together. We understand the needs of the community and work to create opportunities for everybody to be involved in and benefit from. The website we run creates a focal point for topics such as additional housing and local issues where those who wish to can put questions to local politians, as well as keeping the community in touch with local news. We run the Gill Nethercott community centre for benefit of the community.

Instrumental in helping to win the Faster Broad Band competition by taking care of the finances and administering the winning equipment for community use. Outcome, gain access to faster BB, all community groups now have access to IT equipment from PC's to a projector that they can borrow. SEEDA invlovement helped to tidy up the town centre and create business opportunities. Positive impact, groups flourished. Established the town's only website run by the community for the community
