Giving money and support where Wiltshire people need it most

Wiltshire Community Foundation provides support to those most in need in our county. As an independent charity we are a secure source of funding built through the generous donations of many supporters over the last 40 years.

Why the community needs us

In 2015 we made grants of over £1m to groups and individuals in Wiltshire and Swindon, supporting 87,625 people. We want to provide a dedicated source of funding for Wiltshire for the future and we need the continued support of those who care about Wiltshire. We match donors to groups making an impact on people's lives and help them to support their local area.

Our impact on the community

We attack fuel poverty in Wiltshire - our Surviving Winter Grants have supported 1,400 households in the last 5 years so that they didn't have to choose between eating and heating during the winter. We level the educational playing field - our One Degree More Grants have helped 130 disadvantaged young people to go to university since 2008. We fight disadvantage, awarding 157 Foundation Grants to groups supporting people across Wiltshire and Swindon in 2015.
