Winterbourne Medieval Barn Trust (WMBT) is busy workings to revitalise the whole complex to become a valuable community asset by encouraging more, and different sorts of audiences, to engage with rural crafts and heritage activities,creating an improved and more sustainable heritage attraction,generating a stronger sense of identity and a recognition of the importance of, and pride in, the local area and increasing community provision and facilities

WMBT believe that Winterbourne Medieval Barn will be many things to many people: a beautiful and peaceful place to discover the Medieval history and heritage of Winterbourne and its surrounding landscape; an inspirational setting for children and adults to learn and be creative through heritage and rural craft-themed activities and courses; and an important historic environment where natural habitats have been shaped by the activities and practices of past generations..
