Our main activity is delivering one-hour Virtual Career WorkOut sessions in which groups of up to 30 students meet and interview five guests from the world of work about their experiences of work.

We've also launched First Job to help 14-15-year-olds to take up part-time paid work positions alongside their school studies (up to 12hpw in term time, 25hpw in school holidays) - click here to donate.

Virtual Career WorkOut helps young people work out what different jobs exist and which jobs might suit them; also work out how to speak and listen effectively to adults they don't know.  Work guests also benefit by doing something useful for the community and feeling personally valued.

In 2022-23, 6996 students from 24 schools met and interviewed 504 work guests from 164 companies in 303 Virtual Career WorkOut sessions.

Since 2015, 25,000 students met and interviewed 3,000 work guests from 500 companies.  It's easy and enjoyable for the volunteer.  Please donate so we can grow it.
