Somerset is the cradle from which the global YMCA movement was born. YMCA Dulverton Group continues to be ground breaking in the scope of its community regeneration and development projects while remaining true to the three founding principles laid down by Sir George Williams over 175 years ago - to enrich mind, body and spirit. 

We are committed to nurturing both individuals and communities through our work and have centres across North Somerset, Somerset and Devon.

In 2022, YMCA Dulverton Group have:

• Provided more than 110,000 safe and secure nights of accommodation
• Given 53 young carers time away from their caring duties with weekly sessions, trips and events
• Offered over 700,000 hours of childcare to local families in our early years settings
• Cooked and served nearly 900 community meals to locals in Minehead
