Every week hundreds of local people walk through our doors to take part in community activities, attend classes, enjoy live entertainment, meet friends and support local charities.

We are proud to provide a home for organisations including the Stony Stratford Community Larder and Stony in Blook. while supporting countless local groups, clubs and initiatives throughout the year.

Many of our groups have used the building for over 20 years and tell us about the value of York House Centre:

'If we didn’t have York House Centre we would have to fold. Its like our Village Hall.'

'The York House team bend over backwards to help us. The building oozes with a sense of community, and as a local I think of it as our community.'

We are accessible by bus, by cycle and on foot. Free parking is available, including spaces for those with disabilities.

Access to the building is possible 365 days a year, allowing groups to use the buildings at important times for them which is not possible with other local venues.

We are a registered charity and are reliant on the support of the community for all that we do. We receive no regular government or other external funding.
