Your Space 10th Anniversary Fundraiser

To celebrate our 10th Anniversary of Your Space becoming a charity we are having a year of fundraising!

Our aim is to raise £10,000 through various events including sky diving, a Charity Cricket Match at Chirk CC on Sunday 25th June 2023, a Charity Football Match along with a Celebration Evening.

Your Space Tenth Anniversary Fundraising Cricket Match, @The AAA’s, Holyhead Road, Chirk CC, Sunday 25th June 2023

The two teams will be The Metronomes CC, who fundraise specifically for autism. Their opponents will be a Chirk Cricket Club Select XI

Whilst the club was founded in 2022 by husband and wife parents of an autistic child from

Northumberland, the rest of the team are from all over the United Kingdom with varying degrees of ability, mainly of recreational/village/club standard. Nonetheless, one of the players they fielded in their match against Spen Victoria is a current Brazilian Female International Cricketer.

The match at Spen, West Yorkshire which took place on a Monday afternoon on 1st August 2022 raising £4,000 due to a very successful online cricket auction that featured many coveted items of memorabilia received from current and former International Cricket legends along with other professional players and coaches. It was also streamed on YouTube for those who were understandably unable to attend due to it being played on a weekday.
