To empower young people to cope with their individual challenges in a healthy and productive way.
Since 1988 Youthline has been providing a FREE, confidential counselling service supporting young people attending secondary school as well as adults who care for and support young people. We work across a number of locations within Bracknell Forest including our main base at The Lodge, Coopers Hill, as well as 10 secondary schools. Youthline offer a safe and supportive environment from a team of counsellors - all of whom have had a criminal record check, are professionally supervised and continuously update their skills. We are a registered Charity, managed by professional staff and overseen by a team of Trustees who all come with a vast amount of experience working with young people. Our large team of volunteers includes counsellors, placement students, fundraisers and office volunteers all freely giving their time to Youthline. Why the community needs us
Youthline work with young people who typically present a variety of often complex emotional, behavioural and mental health problems, including low self-esteem, OCD, eating disorders, school related issues, anger, self harm, anxiety, bullying, suicidal thoughts and depression to name a few. We are working to become more accessible to all areas throughout Bracknell Forest by having counsellors in GP surgeries and senior schools. Our impact on the community
Youthline prides itself in monitoring the effectiveness of the service. Every young person has shown a positive change in their level of well being from using our counselling service. They can often make more informed choices about their lives.
