Ystradowen Community Centre is a community hub for the locality and surrounding areas,
covering three counties. It has been running for 10 years to help provide the gap in provision
for local needs. We provide a range of activities and services for all ages and abilities which
all help support the community’s needs. We also provide our own transport for the
community. Our aim is to reduce isolation, combat loneliness, prevent poverty, increase
independence and create social interaction.
Our services include :
- Luncheon club
- Hot food delivery
- Chiropodist Appointments
- Community Cafe
- Community Transport with our own minibus and community car
- Catering for the community (private functions)
- Parent and toddler group
- Fuel Club - helps with heating oil
- Gardening Club
- Book Club
- Community Bingo
- Room Hire for meetings, parties, wakes etc
