Homerton Hope is the charity for Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The charity raises funds for the hospital and community services. Although Homerton is funded by the NHS, the Homerton Hope charity allows us to raise funds over and above NHS provision, to further enhance our services and make our patients' experience even better.

Funds raised by Homerton Hope help to pay for additional equipment, research and innovations, as well as finishing touches and 'extras' that complement the existing high-quality care for patients at the Hospital.

The post holder will support the Charity Manager on behalf of the Trust’s charity, working with both volunteers and staff. They will work alongside the Fundraising Manager to help develop and implement fundraising initiatives for the charity, maximising donations, legacies and gifts to support the charity in achieving its objectives. 

The post holder will support the development of grant applications and fundraising appeals, including events and activities that not only maximise fundraising for the charity but also positively raise its profile and that of the Trust it supports.

It’s a short/ free course about helping people find affordable internet, which is important to so many organisation at time when more than 1m people have had to give up their internet contracts because of the cost of living crisis.  It was made  for a partnership of London Local Authorities for their frontline staff/ volunteers and they’ve made it free for everyone.

Help offered: Sign Language Teaching. "My name is Aftab Hussain. I am profoundly Deaf, and I am a British Sign Language teacher. I am based in Bradford, but teach all over the UK in schools, charities, community groups, and many other organisations and businesses. I teach basic BSL to people of all ages, covering topics like emotions, colours, animals, food and drink, and many more.

Supporting your Clients’ Mental Health: You My Sister provides mental health support for women who have experienced domestic abuse. Domestic abuse, mental health and other services across the UK already routinely refer clients to us.

Our high impact support takes the form of short courses, run in small online groups of peers with trainers with lived experience – helping women process what happened to them and reclaim their lives.

Twilight Runway Challenge – 19th September 2025 

We are delighted to have a new partnership with the Community Matters Partnership and have places available in their flagship event, The Twilight Runway Challenge!

This is a fun, family-friendly event which takes place on the airstrip of Blackbushe Airport. You can run, walk, cycle, scoot or skateboard your way round the 3km, 5km or 10km route. You can choose which route you do on the night.

If you choose to take on this challenge, we will support you from start to finish. You can expect:
