We offer social an emotional practical support within a non-judgemental environment where people can relate to how you are feeling. We aim to promote equality of opportunity and ensure that our members voices are heard and responded to.
Why the community needs usWith the ever increasing pressures of life, one in four people will experience mental health issues during their life. With the fast growing population of Corby it is vital that these services are provided to ensure a mentally healthy community. Local people are helped and supported through times of mental distress and illness. At Corby Mind they have the opportunity to learn new skills, increase their confidence and create for themselves a brighter future.
Our impact on the communityDuring the last ten years Corby Mind has supported in excess of 1000 local people. Some require ongoing support, others have benefited as a result of the services provided with shorter interventions. Majority of service users have been able to rebuild their lives, re-integrate into the community and have gone on to use their experiences to help others. Corby Mind has facilitated the process of recovery, growth and independence.
