We provide support to local groups and organisations in their set up and development, we can advise on governance, identifying and accessing funding, policies and procedures and general organisational health checks. We provide a brokerage service to match individuals who are interested in volunteering with local opportunities. We also run two volunteer car schemes (Corby and Kettering) and a shop-mobility project.

Through our car pool and Shop-mobility projects we provide an essential service to the most vulnerable people in our communities. Users of the schemes value the independence it affords them, the ability to get out and about in town, attend local groups and activities and essential medical appointments. We act as a voice for the community sector, we contribute to partnerships and committees which may influence decision making.

In 2011-2012: 150 volunteers placed in Corby. 74 groups were supported. 11,000 single passenger car journeys made.
