To provide accurate, unbiased information and advice and support to disabled people, their carers, social workers, etc... We provide welfare rights and advocacy by a disabled led team.

Our aim is to combat isolation and deprivation for disabled people and their carers. We provide one-to-one support with benefit applications and appeals. As we cover the whole of North Somerset, we attend a number of outreach surgeries in order to ensure people can receive help in their locality. We are able to do home visits if absolutely necessary.

We have found that our clients are very grateful to receive help with the lengthy and often complicated benefits forms. They have appreciated support and the opportunity to share their struggles with their disabilities. We are able to advise on various support groups in the area and any help with mobility/travel concerns, as well as aids and adaptations. We often write to our local MP and parliament with regards to the current issues our clients face with the benefit cuts.
