We provide quality gymnastics sessions for participants aged from 2 up to adults. Sessions are available at all levels from the beginner up to the International performer. We provide many different gymnastics disciplines including Women's Artistic, Men's Artistic, Tumbling, Acrobatics, TeamGym as well as Display work. Participants may choose to compete or can just take part for fun and fitness.
Why the community needs us
We provide a safe environment for children and young people to experience the sport of gymnastics. Children are nurtured within the Club and helped to achieve their full potential in the sport, regardless of their ability. We support the local schools in their provision of gymnastics sessions, through the use of our premises and the provision of qualified, safety checked coaches. We also provide a venue for the Key Steps competition for Calderdale Schools.
Our impact on the community
We have around 1,000 current members. There are nearly 200 children waiting for a place in a gymnastics session. We have around 45 highly qualified and well experienced members of staff. We are looking to continue our provision of quality sessions to allow children to experience the benefits of gymnastics and, hopefully, to develop a more healthy lifestyle. We have also trained 4 apprentices, providing an opportunity for young people to develop a career in sport.
