Fair Close Day Centre provides a permanent venue within which the elderly can experience a friendly and caring environment. Members can visit daily for morning/ afternoon tea or coffee. Freshly cooked meals are available at lunch time. There is also a "Meals on Wheels" service. There are social and recreational activities, including Chair Exercises, Knit & Natter, Whist and Bingo. Hairdressers and Chiropody services are also available. We organise day trips, visits to theatres and holidays.

We offer a unique service within the Newbury district, giving the elderly an environment which is safe, friendly and caring. Our "Meals on Wheels" service not only delivers meals but also human contact and is a life line in many cases.
