Fair Shot Café is a unique social enterprise cafe bringing training and employment to young adults with learning disabilities. It will provide a Traineeship Programme to 16-24 year olds with mild learning disabilities. Our vision is to battle of crippling 95% unemployment rate amongst people with a learning disability by creating a commercially viable and profitable business that uses its revenue to train people with learning disabilities and get them into sustainable mainstream paid employment.

We want to bring Hammersmith and Fulham together while promoting positive social change by training people with a learning disability, removing barriers to inclusive employment. Fair Shot will celebrate diversity, honour inclusion and encourage uniqueness. By championing these important values we hope to create a place where everyone feels like they belong, feels safe, welcome, included and heard. We exist to promote equal access to employment and to empower people with the strength of community

Fair Shots' Traineeship Programme will be a vessel for creating change and acceptance by challenging public perception of people with a learning disability. Fair Shot removes barriers from inclusive employment and gives these young adults the chance to fulfil their true and special potential. A Fair Shot at a job will enhance their mental health, improve their income and sense of security, develop their social skills, all while giving them a space to be themselves, safe, accepted and valued.
