The purpose of the charity is to provide a range of services to the local community such as employment and training, benefits advice and English classes for beginners. The centre has been running since 1983 and has had many groups involved in the centre itself. Currently we have ESOL, computer classes and Fashion and Design classes which are through a local FE college. We also have a women's group based at the centre on the first floor.

The services we offer are relevant to the issues and concerns within the community and our aim is to try and tackle them through learning and development.

Many service users have joined english classes and computer classes as this is a stepping stone for them to enter training and even employment
