-To provide opportunities for the local community to be actively involved in their local park- To act as a channel for Friends members and other Park users to provide feedback on the Park to the Council and other interested organizations- To carry out specific projects, with the City Council's approval, to enhance the park and its facilities

Beneficiaries of our activities are local residents & users of the Rec. The users of the Rec are diverse & people come from beyond the local community to use the park or walk their dogs. Our work brings together the local community through enhancing the recreation ground & organising events which attract & introduce local residents to the park. Using the skills & talent of the local community is really important
