I am supporting National Deaf Childrens Society for this 100 mile ride. My target was to get to £500 which I have now done, but why stop there. Let’s try and get as much as possible for this amazing charity.
I have decided to give back to this charity for a couple of reasons. A friend of mine who has experienced the support and help from NDCS for their little baby, who helped not just their little one but also the family get through all the difficult times and if it wasn’t for this charity the family do not know how they would have coped. The other is the inspirational story of Henry,Adam's little boy, who has been given the gift of hearing through incredibale breakthrough in technology. This only comes from fund raising like this event where little impact to our pockets will make a huge impact to child you may already know.
For anyone who knows me knows that I hate any sort of exercise these days, but I took on the challenge to cycle this 100 miles because of how good the cause is. Luckily there are other amazing people who are also cycling this with me. David Whyte, Harry Syme, and John Mackenzie plus some others.
Thank you to everyone for their support and donations.
