I am challenging myself to get active and walk 100 miles in may in support of Gendered Intelligence.
Gendered Intelligence is a trans-led charity that works to increase understanding of gender diversity and improve the lives of trans people. They provide a range of support services for trans people and their families, youth groups and summer camps for trans youth, and provide education and training to improve understanding and inclusivity.
Unfortunately there is a lot of hostility and lack of understanding towards trans people in the UK right now, which has resulted in the erosion of trans rights, exclusion, and a rise in anti-trans hate crimes.
It is important that young trans people are met with understanding and compassion, are able to access support, and have safe spaces where they can be themselves, thrive, and simply have fun.
Charities like Gendered Intelligence are incredibly important and do invaluable work. I hope you can help me support them in making life better for trans people in the UK!
