I'm the 2023 Ethiopian Women's National Cycling Champion and I'm running the Vitality 10km on Sept 28th to raise money. West London Welcome has done so much for me; they have supported my cycling in the UK, found me a solicitor for my asylum claim, taught me English but most of all given me a community where I've made friends and found a second home. I'm so happy to help this wonderful charity raise money for their work. I am not an experienced runner so it's a challenge for me but I enjoy running and have the fitness to do it.
