9 members of 10T ran 5K at parkrun in Black Park on Saturday 4th July to raise funds for The Suter Pavilion at Dr Challoner's Grammar School. The boys (accompanied by various siblings and parents) ran amazingly fast on a very hot morning and we are very proud of them all! Well done lads!
Mr Jeremy Suter was a much-loved geography teacher and keen cricketer. His sudden and tragic death in October 2014 , aged 23, united the school community with staff, students and alumni feeling his loss very keenly. With the support of Jeremy's family, the school plans to create the Suter Pavilion. Not only will this ensure that Jeremy's name lives on, but it will enable the qualities that he embodied, both on and off the cricket field, to be shared with future generations of staff and students. We are proud to remember Jeremy in this way. Everyone at Challoner's is united in a desire to establish a permanent way to remember Jeremy's contribution to our community.
Getting together as a class and fundraising is a great way for the boys of 10T to accomplish something positive in Mr Suter's name. Please support them in raising as much money as possible.
