The Greenwich Runners 12ks of Christmas challenge is to run 12kms every week in December (2024 challenge commences Monday 2nd December to align with the Strava week)
We ask all participants to make a donation on this page of a minimum of £10pp (but please give more if you can!)
You can run all of your 12km in one go or split into a few runs over the week. If you come to Saturday run club, that’s around 5km in the bag already!
Each week on Sunday evening we’ll announce the Strava leaderboard in the 12ks Whatsapp group.
The challenge will culminate in a final group pub crawl run for all the Greenwich Runners and any friends that want to take part. This will take in 6 pubs over a distance of 12km! (approx). You’ll need a sense of adventure, a sense of direction and a sense of humour! (speed is not a pre-requisite). The 12km pub crawl will take place on Sunday 29th December. Meet at the Richard 1st pub on Royal Hill from 11:30am for the 11:50 (ish) departure, wearing something festive.
