Thanks for visiting our page.
Twenty one friends: Andy, Nick, Callum, Damien, Dave, Gareth, Geraint, Hannah, Huw, Jason, Jimmy, Pete, Rich W, Sophie, Steve, Mel, Mike, Rich Brady, Luke, James and Phil have challenged themselves to each run 100 miles (that's a combined 2,100 miles!) during May to raise money for Flamingo Chicks – helping to keep disabled kids dancing during lockdown!
The coronavirus pandemic has seen a surge for Flamingo Chicks’ work but at a time where its traditional fundraising has either stopped or become very limited. Even in ‘normal times’ 65% of families with disabled children report feeling isolated, and we know Covid-19 is taking a huge toll.
Flamingo Chicks new virtual classes have been a great success with 20,000 views and families reporting they are a life-line, making them feel part of a community again.
