On June 13th 2014 we will be taking on the challenge of climbing the UK's three highest peaks in 24 hours! Starting with the highest mountain of the three - Ben Nevis at 1344M above sea level and then on to Scafell Pike in the Lake District at 978M. Although this is the smaller of the three mountains, we will have the added task of climbing this one in the dark, and it's known to be the hardest of all due to it's relentless steep ascent! Finally after not much sleep and 2 mountains done, we climb the third and final which is Mount Snowdon in Wales at 1085m. This is going to be a very difficult challenge for all three of us, but to keep us going we've decided to do this for a local charity project called Musical Keys. Musical Keys is Norwich based charity providing a service to people with special and/or additional needs across East Anglia. For over 20 years, Musical Keys has developed a comprehensive programme of music, movement and arts based activities designed to enable participants to learn new skills, build confidence and improve motor skills and coordination through enjoyable and interactive sessions. Our groups also offer a support network to parents, carers and families. To find out more please visit http://www.musicalkeys.co.uk/ We would be grateful of anything you can spare to sponsor us on this challenge!!
