Charlotte, Emma, Mark and Helen are raising money for Camtrust as part of the 2.6 challenge
This challenges us to raise money by doing something that is 2.6 or 26 related.
We are going to build a 2.6 meter Lego tower!
Our plan is for the tower to be self supporting.
We have chosen Camtrust as they are a great local charity (and Mark is a trustee). Because of Covid 19 They have had to cancel all their fundraising events; they are not able to sell any bikes; they will not be getting any of their normal income as they have had to close.
Camtrust are losing about half of their income while we are in #Lockdown due to the #coronavirus pandemic.
As a trustee I, along with all the other trustees and volunteers, desperately need to raise income. We have had to furlough all the staff but without additional income our future could be in doubt.
The target of £1300 represents about two weeks of lost income.
We have been told we are not able to claim any government support so we need your support. Please.
You can find out a bit more about what Camtrust does on their website, but basically they specialise in life skills for adults with physical disabilities and learning difficulties. What this means is that they provide loads of cool activities and the most friendly place in the world for people to come together and learn.
