The official London to Brighton bike ride might have been cancelled but that's not stopping us! On Sunday 13th September we are cycling from Clapham Common, London to Madiera Drive, Brighton to raise money for Emmaus Brighton & Hove.
This year has been such a difficult year for the community. Due to Covid-19 the charity had to close all its shops which resulted in a huge drop in income. So we thought it would be a nice gesture to raise as much money as we can by taking on this challenge.
Emmaus Brighton & Hove helped one of us overcome not only homelessness but also an addiction. Emmaus was the first time he felt secure enough to address his addiction and with the help of the staff and the other companions it was the first stage of his recovery.
