Me and my sister are walking 120 miles to raise Suicide Awareness particularly in men, in memory of our precious sons Daniel and Ceolan. On 14th March my son Dan was only 23 when he made the heartbreaking decision that would devastate our lives forever, and then last year on 16th March 2024 we also lost my nephew Ceolan, my sisters son in the same tragic circumstances, he was only 27 years old. This was just 2 days after Dan's 11th anniversary. As a family we are beyond crushed by this excruciating pain that tears into the very fibres of us all who loved them so deeply. Myself and my sister want to do all we can to raise awareness in hope that it will make a difference in at least one person's life and change their mindset, so that another family won't suffer the pain we carry every day. On March 10th '25 we are walking from our home in Birmingham (covering 20 miles per day) to old Trafford the home of Man Utd who Dan absolutely idolised and then onto the city of Liverpool, where Ceolan had relocated to, working and living, adopting it as his home town after falling in love with it whilst attending university. We are raising funds for Men's Minds Matter who are a fantastic charity that support anyone at risk of suicide but particularly men. Thank you for reading our story we really do appreciate you taking time out to do that. Please support us in any way you can donating any amount and sharing our fundraiser page
