Team Fundraisers
Last year colleagues and friends went to the festival to watch the fun and take in the ambience of the day.
During our Christmas office party we were thinking of ideas for a team building event and the boat race was suggested and easily agreed (I think the free flowing alcohol made the decision very easy). "It will be a fun day they said", "a chance to build on team moral" they said, "a day of drinking, enjoying the weather and having a laugh" they said!!! Fast forward to 3rd April at the Captain's event and panic. Majority of teams are well organised, training done, fund raising well on the way and feeling positive about doing well. L Wood & Co Ltd, have no training to boast about, not started fund raising and not even on the first step of the ladder. Time to up the anti, our main aim, apart from having fun, is raising funds for a very good cause and generally enjoying the whole day is not to capsize and NOT TO COME LAST.
We will definitely need your help cheering us on, as we sink, oops sorry I mean as we row in time with each other heading towards the finishing line!!
