Team Fundraisers
Hi everyone!
I'm taking part in the London Marathon for the first time on Sunday 21st April and have decided to fundraise for MSSC (Merton Sports and Social Club).
MSSC is a charity that I've volunteered with previously that support both sighted and visually impaired people in staying active. Whether that's through monthly tandem rides, walks or pub socials there's something for everyone to get involved in.
As a cyclist myself there's a great sense of joy and freedom that's comes from taking to the road, but if you're visually impaired it isn't something you can do safely without support. This is why MSSC is so important as they provide both volunteers and tandems to enable visually impaired people to have that support. Having piloted a tandem myself ( being a front rider) I've seen first hand the positive impact of their work which is why I would like to fundraise for them.
Any and all donations are greatly appreciated no matter how small.
