Glamis Adventure Playground has been dear to my heart for decades. It is a wonderful place for children to play: a unique space. Children receive a hot meal at every session, and can choose from free play on the wooden structures, Fire Club, crafts or a host of other activities.
It saddens me that funding for all play projects has decreased dramatically and Glamis is a victim of this. The playground desperately needs funds to survive.
So as a trustee for the playground I’m putting on my boots and along with Welsh terriers Maud and Fly will walk 26.2 miles over 27 dog walks up to The London marathon on 18th April.
On the 18th April the playground is open to all, we’ll be serving refreshments and providing a toilet spot for marathon viewers to raise further funds. Come along and say hello or reach out and join Maud, Fly and I on a walk .
Well done Maud and Fly (and Suznnah)
You are an inspiration , Suzannah!
