One Can Trust is an emergency food bank supporting people in High Wycombe and nearby. Demand for their services has almost doubled since the Lockdown.
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on charity fundraising with the cancellation of thousands of events. To help fill the gap in the expected £4bn income shortfall, the organisers of the UK’s mass-participation events (including the London Marathon) are coordinating a campaign – ‘The 2.6 Challenge’ – to help bring in much-needed funds.
As a family we have set ourselves the challenge of sharing 26 favourite recipes to match the 26 miles of the what would have been the London Marathon on Sunday 26 April.
Please consider making a donation to One Can Trust to support their amazing work for the community.
£21.00 pays for a standard adult parcel
£65.00 pays for a standard family parcel
£500 can pay for a month’s rent for food bank store
Hope you enjoy the recipes. Thank you.
