Its that time again to don the lycra and stare at the grating bum cheeks of the other keen/stupid or both cyclist/s on this years Ring of Fire adventure.
90 Miles a day visiting some rugby landmarks from Nottingham, to the west side of the Uk Whitchurch narrowly avoiding the Welsh, we then aim downhill and head South to Gloucester and then back to the glorious Milton Keynes. Of which we will have ( fingers crossed ) glorious weather, however come rain or shine this challenge will be completed by yours truly and 52 other adventurous, lycra wearing loons.
This years worthy receivers of the money raised are:
Willen Hopsice Compassionate Care for the Community - an amazing charity that has to do all of its own fund raising. It has such an impact on all that comes across this amazing service of care that they provide.
Cardia Risk in the Young ( CRY ) - Preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening & research, and supporting affected families.
MKRUFC - A local rugby club that does more than just fill ladies & men with beer and throw them onto rugby pitch to get covered in mud. They work closely either local councils, schools & the RFU to promote rugby within the wider community. They have a second to none juniors set top which they hope 1 day will be a world class rugby player.
