Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge for Young Carers

I am the Project Manager for Wigan and Leigh Young Carers, which is a small charity in Wigan borough, with a BIG heart. We have a dedicated team of volunteers who support our 10 after school groups, which are dotted about the borough - these provide much needed respite for our young carers and young adult carers, aged 5-24 and provide them with the chance to enjoy new experiences and make lasting friendships. Alongside one of our group leaders, Rupert Aldridge, I have decided to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on Friday 9th June 2017, to help raise funds for a weekend residential outdoor pursuits trip this summer.
