In February 2023 I will be turning 40!
Instead of mourning my youth I have decided to set myself 40 challenges to show age is but a number.
I took part in ROF 2019, it was possibly one of the hardest things I have done and I swore never again!!! 3 years later a lot in life has changed. One positive change for me was finding a place where I truly feel myself, where I am pushed, encouraged and supported...MKRUFC, joining the newly established and very welcomed Ladies Team #one_club_one_family.
I honestly thought my rugby days were behind me but, at 39 I not only found a team and club I love but I was also lucky enough to be selected to represent my county! This made me realise I can still challenge myself so, I'm getting back in the saddle and taking part in the 2023 ROF.
Please, please, please support me in supporting these amazing causes:
1. Willen Hospice Willen Hospice - End of life palliative care (willen-hospice.org.uk)
2. Ed Slater and the Gloucester Rugby 4ED campaign: Gloucester Rugby
3. MKRUFC rugby development and support:
Great causes and best of luck
Knocking it out the park…well done!
Good luck with the ROF
